Building Inspector Wanted

The Houghton Lake Building Agency is seeking a Building Inspector. Duties would include, but not limited to, performing on-site inspections for construction installations; working closely with contractors and building owners to determine compliance of newly constructed, remodeled and existing structure to state and local codes; examining construction plans and blueprints to determine complance to applicable codes; initiating compliance actions when violations are found; maintaining records and preparing reports along with assisting aresidents with questoins regarding contrcuaton issues.  For a full list of qualifications, duties and compensation or to submit an application prior to the April 7, 2025, please contact the Houghton Lake Building Agency at 1250 S Harrison, P.O.
